Fireside
Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. As such,
we rely on the memberships and generous contributions of our many
loyal supporters, without whom the many educational opportunities
and Independent film preservation and promotion programming we offer
simply would not be possible.

Contributions
to the Fireside Foundation may be deductible to the extent
permissible by law, less the value of gifts received. By so indicating
on
the renewal envelope, you can make an additional contribution
to the Foundation by not receiving any gifts. Thank you.
The
Fireside Foundation
Your Membership Dues At Work...
Our objective, as a membership organization, is to Perpetuate
independent film through education and exhibition. We hope to
accomplish this in the following ways:
- Sponsorship
of Film Festivals throughout the year, providing
a venue for independent film makers to
show their
projects.
- Development
of scholarships for seminars, presentations and course work
at both public and private institutions.
- Development
of a fund to assist independent film makers with seed money,
matching funds, or outright financing of film projects, of
all lengths and genres.
- Develop
and finance workshops, seminars and retreats for film makers,
actors and screenwriters, permitting conversation and communication
with active professionals and equipment manufacturers.
- Development
and distribution of an annual collection of independent short
films, made by Foundation members.
- Assist
in the development and expansion of markets for independent
film of all lengths, through existing and creation of new
outlets.
